Willis Music Piano Workshops 2012

Willis Music and Alfred Music Publishing present a Piano Clinic Event featuring:

Dr. E. L. Lancaster

With extensive teaching experience with students of all ages, from young to college-level pianists, Dr. E. L. Lancaster will share valuable insights into teaching techniques and materials for working with a wide-range of students with varied interests.

Currently, Dr. Lancaster is Senior Vice President and Keyboard Editor-in-Chief for Alfred Music Publishing. From 1979 until 1998, he was Professor of Music at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, where he directed the masters and doctoral programs in piano pedagogy. Concurrently, he and his wife, Dr. Gayle Kowalchyk, operated a large independent piano studio for pre-college students.

He has presented workshops for teachers throughout the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Dr. Lancaster is the author or co-author of more than 350 publications for students of all ages.
