We have recently started a bluegrass slow jam the third Sunday of each month at 3:00 in West Chester. We are currently meeting at West Chester Church of the Nazarene (next to Khol’s) on Tylersville Road. The slow jam’s focus is on the beginner to intermediate player with the aim of providing a comfortable atmosphere for us “closet pickers” to learn to play music with others.

Please let your acoustic students know even if they are not bluegrass enthusiasts. The jam is a good place to practice playing in time, practice being able to play breaks without stopping and starting and recovering from the mistakes. All important skills regardless of their preferred style of music.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to email me at Cincinnatibluegrass@hotmail.com.

Hello, my name is Thierry Pabst
I sing and I sing jazz and I am looking for a jazz vocal coach in Cincinnati. I have my degree in Vocal Performance from Miami and I have performed extensively in theater and have sung for several years. Great bass-baritone and was a friend of the late Kenny Poole. My desire is to locate a pianist/arranger, and a vocal coach and perform as much as possible. If you could provide me with any information, I would greatly appreciate it. My email is tgtpabst@gmail.com and my phone is 513-377-6951.
    Regards, Thierry Pabst
