Tales of a Traveling Composer

Newcastle (upon Tyne), England

“On Monday morning we traveled by train from London to Newcastle. We were happy to have a few hours to explore the city prior to the workshop. Newcastle is a fascinating blend of the old and the new. I wish we would have had more time to explore. It’s worth a return trip.

Our fabulous hosts at J. G. Windows set up a terrific workshop Monday evening and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the local teachers. Afterward it was off to dinner with our hosts. The locals emerging from the pubs after their St. Patrick’s celebrations made for an endlessly entertaining walk home.

Off to Manchester…”
