Congratulations to this week’s winner of the Willis Music Eastgate Artist of the Week Honorary Artist Award (WMEAotWHAA), Nickelback!
This Canadian band has continuously defied genres since their inception. They bounce from one genre to another like the unpopular person from middle school who bounced from clique to clique and was never welcomed into any of them. You know the person I’m talking about. They perfectly represent Nickelback, and Nickelback is the only band they listen to.
Nickelback writes songs on a wide variety of subjects, ranging from photographs, being rock stars, and cowboy hats. It takes a massive amount of talent to make an entire career based on a picture of Billy Ray Cyrus, who never made it as a wise man, couldn’t cut it as a country star, was tired of living like a rock star, and sick of trying to be a successful father.
So congratulations to Nickelback for winning the Willis Music Eastgate Artist of the Week Honorary Artist Award (WMEAotWHAA), and here’s hoping America is able to do unto Canada as Nickelback did to America.
